Teacher Training
1. Optimize the age structure and establish a team of teachers with seniority and vitality.
This course focuses on the scientific age matching of the teaching team, from Table 1 it can be seen that the teacher team members are composed of middle and young people, and the age averaged between 33-56 years old. Among these are the well-qualified faculty members, such as Wang Guohua, Yan Danping and Chen He, who have grown up along with the development of the curriculum. Every year, young teachers such as Shi Jing, Liu Ting, Cai Wenjie who have innovative perspectives and advanced research methods are constantly recruited. They joined the teaching team, learn from each other, give full play to the teaching experience of key members and the innovative vitality of young teachers, and jointly explore better and more effective teaching modes;
2. Enrich the curriculum knowledge system and absorb diverse professional knowledge background teachers
"Public Policy Analysis" is an interdisciplinary and closely related curriculum. It requires a relatively comprehensive knowledge system. Based on the professional teachers in the field of public analysis, this course actively absorbs and introduces teachers with different professional knowledge backgrounds. The members combine public policy analysis with the research areas of teacher subdivisions to deepen students' understanding of the application of public policy analysis in theory and practice. As shown in Table 1, the research areas of teaching team members are subdivided into land policies, science and technology policies, energy policies, and environmental policies. The rich and cutting-edge research results in various fields ensure the breadth and depth of the course “Public Policy Analysis”. At the same time, we have teachers with advanced information technology background to provide technical guidance and support for students' public policy analysis and practice.
3. Encourage academic exchanges and ensure that teachers' teaching ability is excellent in English
The subjects of this course are foreign masters and doctoral students. Smooth English expression and teaching ability are the foundation for the course to achieve good results. The teaching team members of this course all have the experience of studying overseas, and actively go out to visit and conduct academic exchanges, with excellent ability to teach in English. Some of the English teaching ability of the teaching team is illustrated in Table 2:
